We found the part we wanted on the internet, then we called the store and ordered the part through Stephen at the Germantown Pike store(previously PepBoys store). He was knowledgeable, pleasant, courteous and friendly. We were promptly called when the part arrived the next day. We went in the store to pick up the part, were well greeted and the part was in Stephen's hand, waiting for us. Wonderful people-person, terrific service.

So grateful to the personnel at AutoZone today, in particular, Menelik who helped us solve a problem and never once made us feel like he was talking down to us. We got new wiper blades and some great input too. Everyone was helpful, the store was organized and I will definitely return.

Brought my battery in to be charged a few days ago. Employee said “it’s really annoying but we do charge batteries”. Came off pretty rude. Called me an hour later (now different employee) and told me the battery was dead AND I needed a new alternator. Battery was brought in stand-alone; no one at AutoZone had any contact with my alternator. Lo and behold my alternator is fine and I just needed a new battery. Was so put off by the rudeness and incompetence of the employees that I went elsewhere to purchase the battery (notable that they didn’t even attempt to sell me one!) just handed the battery back to me with no further sale attempts or explanation for their alternator “diagnosis”. Will definitely not be returning to this location.

Battery replacement went flawlessly. Except after they ran a diagnostic test on the battery And charging system, it came up that it was failing to charge. After taking my car to my preferred shop, they assured me that there was nothing wrong wrong with my alternator, and the scanner at auto zone must’ve been faulty.
