HORRIBLE all around experience is an understatement. I really doubt the ethics of this company and particularly the Newtown, PA location. Car had an expired registration and needed service. Car was filthy. This was an insurance rental and I feel like they would do whatever they could to maximize the daily rate the insurance approves.

Here’s one star for you enterprise Newtown. Understand that there are five parking spots for all of their rental cars on the street which might be occupied by someone other than an enterprise Rent-A-Car customer. Do you wanna know who they’re occupied by the employees because the employees are not allowed to park on the lot at work so they take all the customer parking and I had to cancel my reservation last minute today because I had no place to park my car. I was given the opportunity to park in the enterprise lot and then come back later in the day and move my car in the hopes that there would be street parking available where I would have to leave my car for four days.

If I can give zero stars I would. This is the worst place I have ever rented from. After I returned my rental car where I used my own ez pass transponder, I keep getting billed for toll charges on 3 separate conditions with different charges from their 3rd party services that enter price uses. The customer service at the Newtown Branch was horrible there the girl did not explain or ask the required questions that they are supposed to do. I believe she did something nefarious about including their own toll services, very scummy. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS BRANDH

I rented a premium SUV from this location to ensure my family would be comfortable for an 9-hour drive to North Carolina. Halfway there, the vehicle broke down on a Saturday afternoon.
Enterprise’s roadside service was no help at all. Because they “could not properly identify the issue,” their solution was to send a tow truck from two hours away and have me wait until Monday (at my hotel expense) to get the problem sorted. That would have left my family stranded for the weekend.
Instead, I called my own roadside service, had them diagnose the problem on the spot, and then paid for an Uber to AutoZone to buy a new key fob battery—just to get their SUV running again. This ordeal delayed us over 3 hours, and Enterprise never called to check on us or see if we were still stuck on the side of the road.
You would think some type of discount or reimbursement would be offered for the inconvenience and out-of-pocket expenses, but Alyssa and Nick both said there was absolutely nothing they could do. I even waited over a week for a promised callback from the “Regional Manager”—which never happened.
Because of their incompetence and lack of concern, we nearly missed my aunt’s funeral. They won’t even reimburse the cost of the Uber I had to take to get their vehicle moving again.
Bottom line: This location does not care about its customers. Poor service, zero accountability, and no follow-through. Do NOT rent from this Enterprise.
