- RRrr rr3 days ago1.0I seriously doubt that this message will be read by a real person. I was totally scammed at my local jiffy lube. I went in to get an oil change and first of all, there are NO price lists posted anywhere! I have a 2022 Jeep Renegade, which was made in Italy. So the "advisor" tells me it's considered a European car. Before they even started on my vehicle, I informed them that I had a $25 coupon for full synthetic oil, which is what my Jeep is required to use. When all the work was done, he applied the coupon and my final price was $101.93!!!!! How on earth does an oil change cost over $100 dollars?????? He went on to explain to me that they had to use EUROPEAN oil. There is no oil drilling in Italy. There are MANY American brands of oil they could have used. In, fact at my last oil change, which was actually at a Jeep dealership they used American oil.

Beware as a woman I do know cars but to keep being reference as " oh you're one of them" is very offensive, then he got mad because my oil change wasn't the price he " thought" so did not use my coupon nor the one that he offered, which was not cool at all. This is why I never go to those 10 minutes oil change places. They rip you off and do they really put a new filter in your car and 5 quarts of new oil? I added this on my survey and I'm waiting for a manager or GM / DM to contact me regarding my horrible experience.
