When I arrived to the Harrisburg Airport branch seeking assistance, the manager stated that upcoming reservations were a higher priority than my existing reservation, and refused to swap my car for anything other than a dirty minivan. I explained that I could not accept a minivan due to losing my mother in a minivan accident a couple years ago, yet this was dismissed with no empathy or concern and blank stares. When I returned the following day as instructed by the enterprise leadership from ISP branch, a team member kindly offered me a choice of available vehicles that could be swapped. However, the manager intervened, asked if my family had “forgotten something,” and directed the employee not to provide me the cars I had just been offered. This felt not only unprofessional but deliberately dismissive. I am extremely upset by both the lack of support and the absence of basic humanity in handling my situation. I trusted your company with my family’s safety and comfort, and this experience has left me very disappointed, frustrated and upset! Having to drive all the way 4 hrs home in a car I was in an accident in with my mom because the leadership at this location did not want to give me a car for a “one way trip” I will be escalating this further.
