Sometimes going into auto stores the staff can be a little standoffish but not the guys working today. Really appreciated their focus on quality customer service.

I was told by a friend that advanced auto will install your battery as well. My car takes a specialty battery. I had the pleasure meeting Dylan Who took a look at my car and said yes I can get you a battery and install it. He was extremely knowledgeable, conscientious, and spoke to me the whole way through of the installation of the battery. He also was keeping an eye on the store to make sure his coworkers didn’t need a helping hand. I cannot say enough about this particular Advanced Auto ,or Dylan. Such an exceptional employee so refreshing to actually have someone that is conscientious and cares.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle.
