Even though I don’t own a car, he still took the time to answer my questions and help me find what I needed. You can tell he genuinely cares about customers and enjoys what he does. The whole store had great energy and customer service, but Derek really stood out !

I drive to Kennedy because I thought I was in need of a battery and their prices were astronomically better. I walk in and I was immediately greeted by Derek who happened to be the manager. He went above and beyond to help me figure out what was wrong with my car. Like I said I thought it was my battery. My car was just turning over and with not starting unless it was taking a jump. Also my entire dash minus the radio was not working. Meaning my speedometer, my turn signals, my gas gauge, temp gauge, etc. He put it on the tester thing and the battery, the starter, and the alternator all read that they were good. Process of elimination led us to disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes and checking the fuses. Turns out it was the information panel fuse (I think that's what it's called) which is what controlled the dash lights. Needless to say I was very happy for such an easy fix cuz that never happens. And I was overall VERY happy with the service. I went there ready to spend hundreds on a battery which they could have easily have sold me. But he was honest. And I hate to say that I didn't spend a dime and now that I'm writing this I feel terrible and will definitely be stopping back tomorrow to purchase something. Anything. Because I already had the fuses in my glove box. And he spent a good bit of time with me. So I will have to stop back for something. Thanks Derek for all of you help. Go to this store for good, honest service and better prices!
