It's almost 2 weeks 3/10 installed and paperwork hasn't been received to the DMV. My car insurance wants to drop me. When I called last Friday 3/14 it was being expedited to fax again and it's 3/20 & still not done!

had install apointment, drop off car the day before and they still didn't do it
I had an install apointment schedualed 10 days out. They will not except people waiting for there install. Which is a major inconvience seeing how one getting this device doesn't have a License. There for not only needing a driver need someone else to follow the car and drive to the shop to drop it off and then agian the next day to pick it up. Yet you need to make an apointment but can't wait for it to be complete, probably because they don't complet the work. I drop my car off the day before as they requested. My "apointment was at 8am today". At 3:30pm I called because I hadnt't hear from them and they close at 5pm plus my drivers are standing by wonder what is going on. I get a whole lot of excuses, bottom line it isn't done but "we are bringing it in right now, we will call as so as it is done" I ask how long do the instrucions take. ""I DON"T KNOW" rudy says the female. 4:57pm they call. We didn't get it done but it will be done first think tomorrow. So I am to beleave this and get my drivers set up ?!?! Plus I need to leave town tomorrow for work for 3 days. So I guess I will get it monday. Maybe. Serously messed up. I was gonna drop the car off a week a go and let them get to it when they want. It's not like I am driving. If I could give them zero stars i would. Actually they should get negitive stars. I am being treat like they know I am at there mercy, because i am. Seriouly messed up.

Frequently Asked Questions About Intoxalock Ignition Interlock
How does an interlock device work?
An ignition interlock device (IID) is a small breathalyzer installed in your vehicle to prevent it from starting if alcohol is detected on your breath. Before driving, you'll blow into the device. If your breath alcohol concentration (BrAC) is below the programmed limit, the car starts. Periodic retests occur during your trip to ensure continued compliance. To read more on Intoxalock, you can read our ignition interlock device guide.
What is the cost of an ignition interlock device?
The installation of an ignition interlock device, often called a car breathalyzer, typically costs between $70 and $150. This one-time fee is paid at the start of your lease and covers the service center's labor to install the device in your vehicle. Payment is made directly to the service center at the time of installation. For more on cost breakdowns, you can read our cost of ignition interlock device guide.
How do I use my interlock device?
Using an IID is simple. To start your vehicle, blow into the device as directed. If the device detects no alcohol, your car will start. You may be prompted for "rolling retests" while driving, where you’ll blow into the device again to confirm compliance. How-to videos are also available on the Intoxalock mobile app.
