  1/24/2026 ----------- UPDATE #2 --------------- AWFUL. From the customer service to the hidden fees, the equipment reliability... What a nightmare. They tell you what you want to hear only to get screwed over or not fixing the issue at hand. Their customer service is a joke. The reps take no accountability. Some have even lied, given attitude and unprofessional, spiteful behavior. The way their system or structure if you will, of how their operations are implemented leaves what now seems like intentional loop holes to just be enough as to where it allows for them to avoid responsibility or wrong doing. There's no communication or procedure implemented to maintain a workflow and efficiency for customer accounts. I.,e ,. There was an issue with the installed while car was being serviced which causes a violation with the device. Obviously just a technicality that's understandable and easy fix as obviously it was a violation caused from customer. You would think the incident would be recorded and made note of so in case the customer has to call back the next rep would see what has transpired and be able to continue on from there. NOPE. So each time you call back to resolve an issue or error, its like starting all over. Which then it, in its self, can open an avenue of new problems. Look more in-depth online and you'll see these 5 star reviews on google are just a deceptive facade. Trying to get a hold of customer service is a journey all on its own. Average for me per situation is about hour and a half to two hours. There has been so many problems and issues, it's unreal. This company knows what they're doing and have it set up the way it is on purpose. Can't help but get the feeling that the overall essence of the company, to me, reminds me of a scene from the movie Happy Gilmore. Ben Stiller comes into the grandmothers room and tells her "You will go to sleep, or I will put you to sleep. You're in my world now grandma..." Meaning, the company knows you have to have this device so you must play by their rules. Another way put, the gatekeep the satisfactory requirement that is required to have per the State's law and regulation. Avoid this company at all costs. They're sneaky, unaccountable, and don't care about anything except the money.... Update 9/19/25: I’m updating my review since my opinion has changed. Let me explain. I got a message from an Intoxalock supervisor who saw my review and wanted to reach out and talk to me personally as to understand my frustration. Isaiah Martinez… if you’re reading this, it’s because of folks like you that make the company what it should be. I can’t thank you enough. I was blown away at the level of compassion and understanding you showed me. Your commitment and dedication to seek a resolution, going above and beyond is something that should be encapsulated and regarded as THEE criteria for all companies to use. Absolutely top notch. Made me feel important as a customer to the company. A thousand times thank you. By far one of the best interactions I’ve had with any company representative. Not all hero’s wear capes.

  They know what they’re doing. It took a lil longer than expected but not really their fault. Plus I’d rather them do a thorough job and it taking longer than a fast and the device is all screwy. Considering the rats nest that was behind the console with splices here and some more over there and non OEM head unit and non OEM connectors, they still got it installed and didn’t have to call me for explanation. This shows that whoever did the work, knows what they’re doing and has a lot of experience. Front end staff are super nice although may need to bring Jeff a box of donuts.(good bribery tool 😉) I’m just kiddin Jeff. The skinny - small shop but packed with expertise, knowledge, and solid work and an amazing front office staff.

  I had a great experience as best as I could getting my interlock device. Josh was very helpful. He walked me through everything.
