Based on their commercial I was led to believe that my insurance would cover the damage. Unfortunately that is not true. Insurance only covers the damage under specific circumstances. So I feel their commercials are misleading. The technician was friendly, fast and represented the company well. However less than 2 weeks after having the windshield replaced. I came outside to see another massive Crack down the center of the windshield. At first I didn't fret at all. Because their commercials boast the quality of the windshield backed by a LIFETIME WARRANTY. Also misleading and very shady. I called and scheduled a warranty repair at the lebanon, PA shop. The technician. Was very friendly but as soon as he got the car inside the shop he came out immediately and told me he sees an "impact point" in the windshield and that the warranty is voided. Now, driving the jeep, I didnt hear any impacts. I never saw a stone, rock, or object strike my windshield since having it replaced. Also when I noticed the damage that morning I didnt see and cracks, chips or damage. So if there was an impact point ot was so very miniscule that it brings serious doubt to my mind to the quality of their windshields that will Crack right down the middle on a non visible "impact point". Regardless doing the math I figure this. My Original jeep windshield from chrysler lasted from date of manufacture in 2021 until December 2025. During that time, that specific windshield has been hit, loud, hard, and often by stones, rocks, treebrances, etc and never broke for 4+ years of hard use. The safelite windshield lasted just shy of 2 weeks and never took a hit. So if the company refuses to say it was a defective windshield, then all their windshield must be weak garbage, like their warranty and their misleading commercials.
