  This is my second visit to this place, both times for an oil and filter change. The first thing I liked is that you can book an appointment online and they even have same-day appointments available. The staff is very friendly and the service is very professional. I recommend it 100%.

  The team at Monro always delivers! Had some concerns with the steering and noises from my vehicle. The Team at Monro found the issue quickly and ratified it within the appointment time. I also appreciate how the leadership team at his shop took the time to explain the circumstances and educate me on my issue. Trustworthy and efficient business is why I will always come back!

  I had driven into Lebanon from Illinois, and when I got to Lebanon I noticed that the engine splash guard had come partly undone. I took the car to this Monro location and they quickly and efficiently examined the splash guard, reattached it securely to the chassis, and I was on my way. No charge. Very friendly folks. A+

  Incompetent non-experts. I scheduled an appointment for some spark plugs and a tire rotation, and my car started to get engine knocking that day (BMW). They wanted to charge me $350 for both of these services, but when they heard my car had engine knocking, the guy at the desk said he recommended a full diagnostic which is $125. Nothing came up on the scanner, so the guy at the desk said he doesn’t even know how to work on it in that case, told me to go to AP tuning who work on German cars, and turned me away. I didn’t fight with him on it, but I went online and found out that faulty spark plugs cause engine knocking, so I should try to see if I could get those replaced before I inspect it further. I scheduled with another mechanic, they replaced the spark plugs, replaced a coil, and now my engine is perfectly silent, and they did it for $70 less than what I was quoted at Monro. The money isn’t the biggest issue; the issue is that I wanted my car fixed that day, and if they had just replaced the spark plugs they wouldn’t have had to worry about the entire engine. Maybe try the small fixes first, and then see if any problems persist. If you had known that engine knocking is related to having faulty spark plugs, then maybe things would’ve turned out different. Regardless if you’re not a specialty shop, if you can’t replace something that sits on top of the engine, I don’t trust you with the rest of it. And these guys charge $168 per hour, which is $30 higher than the PA average, and the place where I got my spark plugs replaced charged half that rate. All of that being said, they could’ve walked away with some of my money, but all they did was waste my time. Don’t charge a premium rate if you don’t provide a premium service because you’re outclassed by most of the mechanics I’ve ever worked with. I’m not returning to Monro for any more “service”.
