letttt me tell you about this place
10/10 no notes (actually i do have notes and they’re all great)
i took my car, ‘15 jeep grand cherokee, to another shop on sunday for drop off for inspection. typical thing to do no biggie, long story short that shop was incompetent and didn’t have the necessary items to complete an inspection, telling me i needed new front breaks (which isn’t true just had them replaced 2 months ago), and then when i got there charged me for an oil change (also done like two months ago and wasn’t close to due yet..) and for a front end alignment (didn’t ask for it) my car was there ALL day my inspection runs out THIS week.. what do i do??? i went online and saw monro had an opening for monday @430, perf, booked it. On my way to get my car from the first shop then omw to this one. The manager, Jon, called and asked me if i could come in sooner due to having an available mechanic.. was more than happy to do so told him my situation briefly and said i’d be there in 10 mins. got there 20 mins before 4, he was very kind and easy to talk to from the get go. i told him about my woes from the other place and he understood and said they’ll do their best to take care of my car today. after sometime, he came back in, told me my car pretty much passed besides one thing… there’s a nail in my sidewall (UGH) so with that being said, it would fail. lame, but i get it i get it, man just tryna do his job. anyways, we worked together at the counter trying to find a good priced tire and he reassured me that the tread on my other 3 were pretty much brand new and just replacing the one will be just fine!! (i’m trusting you jon 😠) he found me a good tire for like $200-iiishhhh (+/-??) but said he wouldn’t have it until tomorrow (which is today) i asked if i could leave my car there until tomorrow when i get done with work, he said that’s totally fine. perf, left it, got a call from them around 3 saying my cars good to go. yay! i also had the most humbling experience of my life (i’m literally just a girl) my emergency break came on, didn’t know how that even happened, fortunately one of the guys were kind enough to help me release it :’) (i just got this car my other car had the emergency break by the center console not on the floor like the jeep idk again, just a girl, but now i know) SO with this boook coming to an end, Jon, thanks for having a sense of humor and helping me chill out after such an experience. everyone else you were great, i appreciate you lots for taking care of my car on a moments notice. next year i’ll plan better, i swear! (…okay well… i promise to be back to you guys for everything from now on, but i can’t say my scheduling skills are going to be on point by next year, but growth is important)

I can always count on Monro Centers. I love how you can ask a question pertaining to your vehicle, and the staff take their time explaining the answers to you. It's like being with family, seriously. The good family that is 😂. I can't see going to anyone else. Thank you MONRO, I love you guys 💞

We got a hole in our tire while traveling 500 miles from home. Jonathan took our car in immediately, diagnosed and fixed the problem in less than an hour, and charged me about $100 LESS than what I thought he would charge me. He was pleasant and helpful. Highly recommend!!
I ended up coming to Monroe when my car was acting up on my way to work. I was able to quickly come in and talk to John the service manager, and he was able to assure me things would be fine, but they would be happy to take a look at the vehicle since I really needed to head into work. Mind you- I was terrified of driving it, but John is definitely trustworthy right off the bat!
Luckily for me, my client ended up cancelling, and I was able to make it over back to Monroe later that morning. That same day, they were able to fit me in. They took a quick look at my car, and let me know the problem, was I needed some parts replaced. With the bill, I asked if I could get my own parts and see if someone could get it done. John was so amiable to allow me to buy them and just pay them for the labor of replacing the parts. They were able to do the simple diagnostic of the issue in less than an hours time. Once I got the parts, they were flexible enough to take costs off the final bill for the Ubers I would need to take going and coming to their shop. It did take the rest of the day to get things sorted, but they called me halfway, saying they needed a different part but were able to find it for a cheaper price than I initially paid for when I got the parts. The final bill ended up HALF of what I was originally quoted, with just how flexible they are and with their beyond satisfactory customer service, support, and care! I even ended up having to pick up my car much later than I anticipated, basically at their closing time, and they were kind enough to still tell me to come over and get everything done super quickly. I feel so reassured that John and his crew are well within my area, and that I can trust them to take care of me, and my car and get things over. I’m still simply amazed by their attitude and ability to get everything done the day of. This Monroe Muffler is truly one of a kind, with honest, affordable, hard-working, professionals, who’s work speaks for itself! Definitely coming back when time calls for it, and recommending this location to friends and family!
