He helped me find the correct wipers and even installed them for me! He also helped me find the correct coolant and he wanted to fill it but I knew he was busy. I greatly appreciated Andy’s expert advice and help. Fantastic customer service! 😊

Should have told me that before I bought it. So I call around to 2 other locations. The first (Quarryville) tells me that they won’t do it because I didn’t buy it at that location AND that it’s 11 degrees out so they won’t do it. I called another location (Lancaster) they said they could do it but it wouldn’t be for 2 hours. I ended up just going to my regular mechanic and they told me that it isn’t even the right battery! Seriously disappointed with Advance.

Searched where to go to get a new batt and maybe have some help installing it. Of course Advance came up and I was so happy: they're the only auto parts shop I use in my little town! Got a jump to be able to get there, but knew the batt needed replacing. Andy was there and the ONLY person running the store. Explained he'd be able to help, but to be patient as purchasing customers also needed attending to -- no problem! He came across gruff at first, but that's just him needing to be clear and concise. He's actually a really nice and helpful guy! Got the batt installed and got me on my way in under half an hour *with* in-store customers needing help!

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward.
