General manager Orville S. Claimed my items were opened while processing my return of 2 unused, unopened items, looking for a reason to deny the return trying to claim “tools are non returnable” “the return policy is right there at the front of the store” then proceeded to read the entire return policy which said nothing of the sorts and returned my items anyway. Very unprofessional, and lost my business at this location.
Would be nice if the general manager didn’t lie to my face and have an attitude the entire time over $50 of unused items, for what, just to return it anyway?
Just put the fries in the bag little bro.

Blaine R was very knowledgeable, friendly, customer service-oriented, and went above and beyond to help me install the items I purchased. He installed my windshield wipers in the dark, cold and rain. He didn't make it seem like it was an inconvenience at all. I very much appreciate Blaine's help!

Lazy, liars or both? My kids going to college nearby has an obvious battery problem in a 2013 Silverado. I sent him to this Advance (Sat 11/22, 11:00) because I’m a big fan of them back home. They told him it takes a specialist to even test the battery on a Chevy pick up truck and a specialist to install a battery. Would not help him. I sent him to a nearby AutoZone and of course they took care of it no problem. I’m appalled.

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?
Expand FAQ item
Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
