I asked him what oil was put in before he asked me which oil I wanted. His reply was the manufacturer recommended oil. I then asked him what if I wanted the cheaper oil or the more expensive oil. He told me they would drain it and put the oil i wanted. Something fishy there i think. I probably won't be back.

(Which consequently caused me over $3,000 in damages to my car.) I know it was Jiffy Lube bc I went to my mechanic immediately after that day, not bc I knew they did this but bc of something else. When he looked under my hood he questioned me of who just changed my oil because he said whomever did cracked the oil manifold by overly tightening it. Regardless, I wasn’t totally sure it happened that day so I let it go and just figure I’d remind Jiffy Lube next time I get my oil changed to definitely not tighten it down too much. I know, I know, I should have never went back to begin with but I struggle with my career to find time to get my oil changed on the rush because I drive all day everyday. So when I went to remind them not to tighten it down too much a VERY rude girl by the name of Claire kept talking over me and not letting me explain what I was trying to say. She was beyond rude bc I wasn’t accusing, I wasn’t a jerk, I just simply wanted to remind them. She wouldn’t let me talk and kept talking over me and saying “it was tightened to specs” in my face and then…that obviously began an argument…an argument that was completely unnecessary and only happen bc she is disrespectful and terrible at her job of customer service. I will never recommend this place to anybody and will be sure to tell as many people as possible or about my extremely bad experience.
