  My insurance sent me to this place, never worked with them before. I spent 15 minutes past my appt. waiting in the lobby. I actually walked around the bldg just opening doors. When a woman came out, she mentioned being in a meeting. The look on her face was the exact look my wife gets when she's really pissed at me. Not one reason to see how they actually fix cars after getting my quote - maybe its fine, but I am not headed back based upon my initial visit. I have also learned since then that Gerber is known as the "walmart" of collision repair from their friends in the industry.

  Trust me when I say this place has gone downhill since purchased by Gerber. I have used them when they were JMA and now Gerber. My last experience was enough to make me go elsewhere and I found the best place to take my car which had significant damage. Luciano’s in Johnstown on Eisenhower Blvd did an incredible job in all aspects. Communication was on point putting me at ease, I felt like they were working for me and not the insurance company which Gerber is terrible at. They cleaned my car inside and out afterwards, no aftermarket parts and matched the plastic bumper to the rest of the car perfectly which JMA/Gerber has never done. If you want a paint by numbers negative experience go with Gerber. If you want a great experience with better than expectations outcomes go with Luciano’s!

  JMA was a decent shop for around here. As soon as Gerber took over and they said nothing would change with staff or work....which was an absolute lie, this new place is absolutely terrible! My car was painted and in less than a year, the clear coat is peeling off, I've contacted gerber 3 times now fighting with them to get them to warranty the work, after the 3rd call they said they will cover it and take care of it.....well that was over 3 months ago now so I'm still waiting for that callback that I was promised. I highly advise everyone find somewhere else to go, it isn't what JMA was, I WILL NEVER HAVE ANOTHER VEHICLE WORKED ON HERE.
