  I attempted to have my car inspected three times last month. At the beginning of the month, I called and was scheduled for the 8th. I was getting ready to leave when I received a phone call asking to reschedule, due to a lack of an inspector. I rescheduled for the 22nd. On the 22nd, I showed up at my scheduled time and again was told that id need to reschedule because there was no inspector. I rescheduled for the 28th. The morning of the 28th, I called to confirm my time (I couldn't remember). I showed up and again was asked if I could reschedule. I decided to take my business elsewhere.

  Scheduled a 7:30a appointment for state inspection and when arrived was informed the garage did not have anyone scheduled for the day to do state inspections. This is the second time this occurred. I attempted to call the store directly to reschedule to ensure a state inspection was available to avoid a repeat situation. It’s very difficult to get someone as my calls were clearly received by a call center and not my local garage. Rescheduled appointment for a week later. During the appointment I received a call from the store manager that my front tires were unevenly worn. I asked if it still passes inspection and was told yes but her recommendations are for alignment. I declined the additional work, paid the bill, picked up car and went home. When home I noticed the inspection sticker was not changed. I called the store and spoke to the store manager and she told me this was a communication error on her end as the inspector did not pass it due to the front tires. I asked her why, when I specifically asked that question and was told yes. I was told that it was a communication error between her and the shop inspector. She quoted me for new tires. I told her that I will be taking my business elsewhere. I have done a lot of business with Monro over the years and am shopping for a new mechanic due to this experience over the past month.

  If I could give 0 stars I would THESE PEOPLE ADMIT THERES NOTHING WRONG WITH YOUR VEHICLE BEFORE THEY HAD IT then refuse to fix there issues I know a person with a Lincoln going through this issue right now and I know someone with a Cadillac who went through the same thing and they said screw these guys and went to Chevy up the road and needed a whole new motor!! DONT GO HERE!! THEY WONT FIX THERE MISTAKES! THEY STILL HAVE THE LINCOLN AND ARE REFUSING TO FIX IT DONT GO HERE

  This place has seen enough managers in the past year or so to staff another store. Avoid them like the plague. They will sell you guaranteed items then refuse to honor that guarantee. In the past week I'veSEEN where they double booked appointments, then couldn't handle the work. Again, find an Independant garage, make a friend. But, dont stop at Monroe to use the restroom. Its awful and expensive.
