  I’ve stopped into this AutoZone a couple of times for basic parts and have had great experiences each time. The staff greeted me warmly as soon as I walked in. When I needed a replacement headlamp bulb and wasn’t sure exactly which one to buy, a team member came out to the car with me, confirmed the correct part, rang it up, and even installed it right there in the parking lot. Super friendly service and very reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

  My battery died on the coldest day so far (it was 5 years old.) I had my neighbor pull her car up to give me a jump. I had called ahead to make sure they had one. They had several in a range of prices. I asked for the cheapest one and they didn't try to upsell me. When I got there it was waiting for me on the counter and he installed it for me!

  I recently purchased 4 Duralast Ignition Coils, 4 Spark Plugs, and dielectric grease from this location. I ended up needing to return the items, but when I went back, I was told the store “didn’t have the money” to process my return. The lack of professionalism and experience in this store is honestly disappointing. Now I’m stuck with the parts and have to go out of my way to travel to the Carbondale location just to handle a simple return. A store shouldn’t be open to the public if they aren’t able to handle basic transactions like refunds. This experience has honestly made me question whether I should continue buying my parts from AutoZone at all.

  Honesdale AutoZone is the absolute best!! PSM Ashley was amazing! Answered all of my questions over the phone, pulled all the parts I needed (2 struts, a front CV axle and wipers) and put them on hold for me at the front. When I came to pick them up she was so helpful and answered a few more questions I had. She was even accommodating to my rowdy 3yr old. She recognized I was having a difficult day (my car had just failed inspection) and offered a treat to my little one to help calm her in the store. ❤️ On top of that, Steve and Ashley helped carry out the parts out to my car and even offered to put the wipers on. I declined and said my mechanic will handle that, but it was truly a heartwarming experience. Thank you for making a stressful day better. Thank you to Ashley, Steve and the entire management team over there. This is how you run a business. I will definitely be back and recommending you guys to everyone!!

  Don't waste your money on the quick shipping. I paid an extra $12.00 for a headlight to be in by 12 noon and it didn't get there until after 4:30 pm. What a rip off,can't even get a refund on half of the shipping costs.
