  Understaffed. There is always at least 15 min wait at the check-in desk even when there is no customer queue.

  4/21/26: Just rented/paid for a “standard” size car at Enterprise Rental Paxton Street Harrisburg from a 3rd party (Priceline) but it’s not a standard size in fact it’s a compact car, Nissan Versa with a missing hubcap on the passenger side. I rent from various Enterprises on the 3rd party (Priceline) site all the time when I travel and use the same Mastercard (not a debit card), but at this location it is holding a $300 security deposit, whereas at other locations I’ve rented from, there was no hold or $200 hold maximum. BE AWARE/CAUTIOUS, when you are renting at Paxton Street Harrisburg Enterprise, because you’ll be charged an excessive security deposit on your major credit card (not a debit card) as well as for a cheaper model/size car that you did not chose. Paxton Street is definitely the worst Enterprise location in Harrisburg…would avoid this location at all costs!

  Made a reservation for a weekly car rental over the phone. I received an email confirmation for my reservation and was told to arrive after noon to pick up the rental. Arrived at 12:15 PM and the portly man behind the counter told me that he had no cars (and not even a bicycle) for me to rent. Told me that my email confirmation was meaningless. Said he called me and left me a voicemail that they were out of cars. Not sure who he called but I have zero calls from enterprise (or anybody else) from the time I booked the rental until the time I arrived to pick up rental. Had to uber to location for pickup. Had to uber home. Out $47 in uber fees. Disgusted that a reservation can be made and CONFIRMED despite there being no inventory available. Disgusted by the customer service representative that thought it was funny that I was highly inconvenienced by Enterprise.
