  After the National Tire and Battery (NTB) was bought out by Mavis I attempted to get an oil change at Mavis. I had a coupon that the Manager of NTB gave me when his technicians let my wife's car sit in their parking lot with the undercarriage plate just laying on the asphalt underneath. When I picked up the car after-hours I began to drive the car and immediately heard the scraping underneath the car. It was the plate the NTB guys left loose underneath. Mentioned this inside the next day. The NTB Manager apologized, put plastic straps on it (versus changing the entire damaged plate underneath the car) and gave me a card with his initials that would entitle the user to two free oil changes. Well, I brought it to Mavis. The Manager wouldn't even consider honoring the coupon from me because they said this has happened before today with people. Ok. Well I haven't come in and had an issue before. But Im here with a legitimate but minor issue. I was turned away because they've had other people with substandard work done too and they now refuse any remaining people with issues from NTB. My wife and I recently moved to the area. We were planning on taking our business to Mavis because they were of the same Company. Bottom line from a customer's perspective? Today's takeaway? Refusing this oil change is more important to the Manager at the Jonestown Road Mavis Center than the thousands of dollars I would've brought in over the next decade+. If I want to find a shop that is more personal and less Corporate I found out today that I need to keep looking. What a bad business decision this was for this Company. ***Additionally, I found an NTB on the Carlisle Pike. I called one minute before they closed. And an Associate actually picked up! Lol. Nolan was not only helpful in getting me in to his Carlisle Pike location, he agreed that Mavis on Jonestown Road was operating in a direction that isn't positive and will speak with someone above his position in the Company. Btw, not only did Nolan get me into his location, he'll honor my complimentary oil change and......he got me in the next day at 8am....just 12 hours after Jonestown Road, Mavis chose to forego thousands of dollars over the coming years.....because they didnt want to simply honor one small oil change. Wow. *Reviews readers.....NBT on the Carlisle Pike. Owned by Mavis. Same company, very very different customer experiences! Thank you again Nolan.

  Came in to get two tires checked due to constantly putting air in the tires. The technicians got me in and out they found two nails and a little screw and put plugs in the tires and put air back into the tires. The girl who runs the counter and the main floor she was very nice and so were the technicians. It was a slow day and they got me in quickly. Never had complaints about this place or any Mavis location.

  This particular Mavis stored did a great job for me. They were able to squeeze me in at a 4 o’clock appointment and they got my car completely aligned properly and even took off a code for me that happened because of the pre alignment. Oh no, I’m very happy with the job they did and they were very knowledgeable and had me out the door by closing.

  I was extremely impressed by the rapid service I received with a tremendously friendly staff. At 5:20 pm on a Friday my husband noticed I had a flat tire. This could have been extremely stressful because I had to travel to a wedding the next day. Rather than get down in the dumps I immediately looked up the nearest tire center and found Mavis was 5 miles away. I called expecting them to not be able to fit me in until the following day since they closed just 30 minutes later. I explained my situation and he said if I came right there they would take care of it. I arrived at 5:45 and they quickly patched my tire and I was back home by 6:15pm. The customer service of the staff and the friendliness of the manager on duty was nothing short of amazing. He even made sure that I knew they do free tire rotation and I assured him that I will be back. In a world where everything is so fast paced and many businesses have lost the "and then some" service mentality, this experience gave me hope again in knowing there are still businesses that go above and beyond. Thank you Dillsburg Mavis! You won my heart and loyalty. I will see you the next time I need anything.

  These guys are amazing! Husband got a screw in his tire on his way home and I made the call to Mavis. They had the tire in stock and managed to fit him in half an hour before closing. When my husband got there, they took a look and was able to patch it. He was in and out within 15 mins. I am so thankful they helped us with this out of the blue and out of our control issue! Thank you again so much!!
