  Quite a poor experience nowadays. Looked up item needed online, went to the store to pick it up and it’s $10 over in the store and they won’t honor online price. Had to literally place an online order in the store, wait 15 minutes and get my item! Unacceptable!! Probably have to look other places to shop for my camper going forward

  We had an RV issue while traveling and stopped into this Camping World location looking for parts and assistance. We had an exceptional experience of true customer support. The retail manager, Mary, happened to overhear a conversation we were having with someone in the Parts department, and she jumped in to give us assistance, applying her years of experience and her knowledge of the issue. She went out of her way to track down the part that we needed, gave us detailed instructions how to order it, and provided support with installation. I have rarely had this level of customer service, and I needed to share of my experience, because exceptional support needs to be acknowledged. Thank you Mary, and your parts department.

  We purchased our first brand new 2026 Forest River Wildwood 24 Zen travel trailer from the Harrisburg Camping World location. My experience dealing with all of the employees there was great. Hunter and Taylor were very helpful, pleasant, and very easy going (not your typical pressure forward sales type, it was great). The financing portion of the purchase was very pleasant as well. Brandon was great and had a very easy going no pressure attitude. Unfortunately what I am not very satisfied about is the shape of the trailer. I blame my being excited and not being more prepared for the walk through prior to purchase but here is my experience. When we got the unit home and were checking everything out we noticed that there was sawdust and aluminum shavings throughout, not in the open floor space, but every cabinet and cubby was littered with remnants of fabrication. It wasn’t a big deal to clean up but disappointing to have to do on a brand new unit. I would equate it to not having to vacuum the trunk and glove box of a new car. Something simple that could have been done but didn’t happen. Another area to point out was the use of brown putty/wood filler. It was used to fill in little nicks and dents, which is fine, but whomever was applying it was very sloppy. Globs were speckled throughout the unit. One stain ended up on the couch (which I was able to clean off) and one stain on the grey bed comforter, which would not come out. Another area that was disappointing was the caulking of the shower and other areas where water would be present. I should say the disappointment was the lack of caulking. It was haphazardly put in and in no way would stop any water from leaking out. I further inspected the roof and found one of the corners had an obvious gap of lap sealant which would definitely cause a leak. At the end of the day I am excited that we have a new trailer but wish that I was more attentive during the walk through and would have noticed these things (and others) and had them corrected before leaving the dealer. Again, all of the people were great but the end result of the purchase left a bad taste in my mouth and I hope that I don’t find other issues.
