They quoted me $487 plus tax for 4 new tires
The total when done was $703 would not recommend this place at all. The guy who checked me out even asked how much my quote was when I dropped my car off and he said nothing about how it was going to be more that my quote. Tires did not even look new.

Extremely disappointed in this shop. Over the last several years, my husband and I have religiously brought our vehicles to get their inspections, tires, oil changes, etc. done at Mavis, and—up until this weekend—we never once had a problem.
Last weekend—however—that changed.
We brought our 2017 Subaru Crosstrek to get inspected, and knew it would probably need tires, and—sure enough—it did. They put four brand new tires on, and also said we needed new rear brakes. So, between the brakes, tires, inspection, and an oil change, we paid $1,700.00 and some change. A little overpriced, but they said it was work that needed to be done in order to pass the inspection.
That wasn’t the problem.
The day after bringing the vehicle home a short two miles away from the shop, the car started making a weird thumping sound upon pressing on the gas. The faster the car went, the faster the thumping sound became. The alignment was also way off, which was odd because—prior to putting on the brand new tires—they told us the alignment might need to be done, and if it had to be, that it would cost an extra $100. When we picked up the vehicle the first time, we were told the alignment was checked, and was 100% good to go. So, although we were $1700 deep, not having to get the alignment done was good news.
Fast-forward to the following weekend when we brought the car back in to have it checked for the weird sound and the whacked alignment, and we were then all of a sudden told that the car needed an alignment, we said to the mechanic that that couldn’t be right because just five days prior, they told us the alignment was good. The dude shrugged, said they already did the alignment, and that for the misunderstanding, he would only charge us $80 instead of $100.
Considering we had just spent $1700 the weekend before, weren’t given a courtesy call prior to the work being done to let us know what the diagnosis was, and were specifically told that the car did NOT need an alignment, we shouldn’t have been charged a single dime for THEIR error.
My husband, not wanting to cause a commotion of any sort, reluctantly paid the $80, but swore he would never bring any of our vehicles back to Mavis again. The $80 wasn’t the point. The point was that it didn’t matter to them that just a few days before, they told us the alignment was good to go. It was as if they wanted to suck that last bit of money out of us, and didn’t matter to them that we have been faithful customers for quite some time.
Either way, this experience has left a sour taste in our mouths, and has us feeling that we can no longer trust them to do good business with us.
