Very impressed with tKia Smail's service department. Staff efficient and courteous. They resolved the issue quickly and impressively the mechanic sent me a video via text while I was in the waiting room explaining the status of my vehicle. The waiting area was incredibly comfortable and spacious.

I took my car to here for an inspection and to have a recall taken care of. What should have been a routine visit turned into my car being there for an entire week because of additional issues they said needed to be fixed. When I picked my car up a week later after hours, I started it to make sure everything sounded normal before leaving. At first it did, but then I started hearing loud, inconsistent clunking noises that my car has never made before. After investigating to the best of my ability, I discovered a pry bar wedged inside the radiator fan assembly. Had I driven off without checking, the obstruction could have caused significant damage to the fan and potentially to other engine components. What really concerns me is that I was originally told the car was test driven multiple times and that everything was “perfect” when it was finished. After I called to report what I found, I was then told that during the first test drive they “heard something that sounded loose and used that tool to tighten something.” That explanation raises even more questions. If the tool was used during the test drive, how was it immediately forgotten and left in the engine bay? And was the vehicle test driven again after that? If so, how were the loud noises not noticed? I contacted the dealership the following day to report the incident and was offered only a complimentary inspection to confirm that everything was “okay.” They drove 45 minutes to my work, took my car to the dealership and drove it back and put just enough gas in my car to put me back where I was. Given the severity of what could have occurred, this response felt inadequate. On top of that, the same day I noticed my blower motor suddenly started making a loud noise when it was on. I looked into it myself and found leaves inside the motor housing. I understand debris can sometimes get in there during a cabin air filter replacement, this was the second issue discovered immediately after service — which is highly concerning. Whether these incidents were accidental or due to negligence, customers should expect a significantly higher standard of care when entrusting their vehicles to a dealership for service. There should be comprehensive final inspections to ensure no tools are left behind and that all systems are functioning properly before a vehicle is returned. Given I almost had to spend nearly $3,000 on everything (I had an extended warranty on my car that covered most of what I needed done and I paid nearly $500), I expect better service. If anything else happens that is abnormal to my cars behavior prior to this visit, I will update here

The staff were all nice and had answers to all of my questions. They weren't pushy or over bearing. They actually made everything so smooth sailing and it didn't take as long as it normally did at all of the other dealerships that I've bought a vehicle from before. I must say I'm very pleased with them, their customer service and my new Kia Seltos.
