They should be wearing bandit masks in the Cadillac garage. I had taken my 2017 XT5 to the shop to resolve the, "Steering assist reduced.." At the time of service, no service lights existed on the dash, but I asked them to look into it anyways as it had come on/off twice in the month of March 2025. They had found that my A/C condenser & Thermostat needed replaced. I was relieved when they told me my after-market warranty would cover all but $600.00 of an approx $2k bill. I drove the car 30 miles after service & it shut off unexpectedly. Without stuttering or dash lights, the car shut off. My family & I were at a 4-way intersection at the time & I had to push the car into a local parking lot where I waited 15-20 minutes before it would start again. Upon starting, every service light was on & the car was in limp mode but made it the final mile home. I had called the dealership to report this issue & the girl working the phone was glee to tell me that it was nearly 4:00 PM (3:50 PM on a Saturday) & no one would be willing to talk to me, but they had me scheduled for additional service on "Tuesday." On Tuesday, the tech called to report that the car needed a tune up, amongst other miscellaneous items. I had questioned the repair & asked how a car would shut off unexpectedly because of a spark plug. I had remarked that spark plugs were for starting the car & that the car was running "fine" before it unexpectedly shut off without warning. The tech assured me that, "things pop up" but was positive that a tune up would get this issue resolved. I agreed. The next day, I picked the car up to the tune of $1,400 & decided to drive it to the 30 mile mark before risking my family again. I about crapped myself when I hit the 20 mile mark & the car went into limp mode (refused to go above 15mph, every service light). The tech had texted me the next day & I had immediately responded the car was Limp again. They offered me immediate service. The car wouldn't even make it to the shop (I live <5min away) & I demanded a tow since I had already given their dealership $2,000k for repairs that had the opposite effect (mind you, upon service - no lights were on & the car passed emissions & inspection). I talked to the service manager who had said that the "spark plugs shutting the car off unexpectedly was a known issue with GM." They called me and reported that they got a bad part (spark plug in cylinder 5). I about fell out of my seat. The tech insisted that they would have the part replaced & offered to keep the car overnight to ensure that the fix was in. I picked the car up for the 3rd and final time - free of charge. On my way home I had noticed that my car was less than a quarter tank & looked at the "service in / service out" mileage to see that it was marked 50 miles less than current (ex: Mileage in 74,225 / mileage out 74250, actual mileage out was 74,294). They ran out at least a half tank & drove approx 80 miles overnight. Overall, it's very hard to trust this dealership with future repairs & it's impossible to recommend their service station. I had waited weeks to publish this report & have been reluctant to do so. It could be that my car just magically began having all these issues after a major repair (thermostat is involved on a 2017 xt5). It could be that the tech messed up the initial repair. It's definite that they're lying about some things - which is evident by the initial mileage in / mileage out receipt for the 3rd repair. Thankfully, the tech fixed the receipt upon request. I shared this experience with 5 honest mechanics throughout the Greensburg area. Each one had remarked that the spark plug would not have unexpectedly shut off my car & believe the initial repair was botched. 2/5 star on this one (1/5 if not for free tow)! My family had told me throughout life, "never take your car to the dealership." This is the first & likely last time I ever will. A car with NO SERVICE LIGHTS OR PERFORMANCE ISSUES took three visits (a week without my car) & $4,000. Re their response: still no call back

My truck was due for an oil change. I called and talked to Troy, our service manager, on Wed. to see if I could get it changed by the end of the week (4th of July was Sat..) and he scheduled me for 9:00 am on Friday (which at the time was free for me.) Wed evening I found out that I had to help a friend at his shop on Friday and was needed there by 10:30... I called Troy and explained the situation and he said to be at the dealership as close to 8:00 as possible since it was a really full day for them... I arrived at 8 and Troy took my keys and asked if I wanted the truck washed when they were done? I said yes, if there's time... Well, at 8:50 Troy came in the waiting area, called my name and told me where to pick up my vehicle, oil changed, brakes, tires and fluids checked and washed.. To say I was please would be an understatement... but, then again, Smail GMC service is top notch and VERY good, to say the least... Thank you to Troy and the GMC service techs.

Completely ridiculous price to replace brake pads - $850 back rotors and pads front pads and cut rotors No wonder they have a jet if people are stupid enough to pay that for brakes
