- TTTaifeeDec 21, 20253.0You have to tell them exactly what the problem is or they won’t look anywhere else to figure it out of their own. Like in my case my vehicle’s steering wheel was stiff and that’s what I told them but I said look what else be the problem other than alignment if that’s the case, they did the alignment and checked everything else is fine. Drove back home with the same issue, called them back and rescheduled an other appointment, waited 3 hours to find out the steering pump was faulty, which they could of figured it out at the first place but had to go back again. And then price for the pump was $900 and to install it another $350 plus tax so I was looking around $1400 plus for the fix. Found brand new genuine pump for $250 and paid a local mechanic $150 to flush the old power steering fluid out putting the new power steering fluid in as well as the new pump installed. So around $400 problem solved instead $1400 plus. So always take a second opinion and research. Everything is on your finger tips.
