- ETEthan TelfordApr 17, 20261.0Spend thousand of dollars a year at this store and others,was parked in there lot while I got a phone fixed across the street. Took the phone and while waiting got lunch spend 120 bucks with them on parts in that’s store that day. About an hour later manager asked me what I was doing in there lot. Told him I was getting a phone fixed. After talking walked across the street to pick it up. Had to wait another 10 min and he proceeded to call me and tell me to move as I had been there too long. Not to mention the people were rude when I was getting my parts. Go to the delmont or murrysville store they are much better to deal with

Typically a car battery will last 2-5 years, with premium batteries lasting 5-6 years. But you should replace it every 4 years for safe measures if you want to avoid any unwanted problems.

Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
