Didn't realize this until AFTER I installed it into my classic car and woke up to a huge puddle of gasoline under my car in my garage. The gas ate right through the rubber, it was NOT CHEMICAL RESISTANT! This could have resulted in a fire of not only my car but my house too. The people working here are completely incompetent.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle.
