  Staff was clueless. And I was only 1 of 2 people there and it took 3 hours for a simple tire mount and balance

  Went in for an inspection, sat for 10 minutes for them to lie to me and say my wheels are misaligned, my brake pads need replaced and fluid *exchanged* (not refilled), and that I had a whole lug nut missing. Wanted to charge me a minimum 600$ to get everything replaced and STILL charged me 25$ for failing the inspection. Fast-forward to a DIFFERENT service center (not Monro related) where they spend 40 minutes inspecting my car and inform me that all I need is a new tie rod, and it would at most cost me 300$, most of which is just labor. Still failed, but at least they told me what the actual problem was vs this place, which lied to me and tried to sell me things I didn't need for my car. My car may be old, and I may be a young girl, but I still know better than to ever let this place touch my car again. Horrible service, horrible preditory tactics, and they don't even give an indepth explanation on why things are wrong in your car. Also there was an old man who came in at the same time as me who wanted an oil change, synthetic specifically. They said it'd be 130$, so hopefully old man you did not agree to that because that's outrageous for an OIL CHANGE.

  Couldn't do my alignment that I had scheduled. After inspection they over torque my wheels so I had to use a 1/2" breaker and broke it. This was the same day they put them on so it wasn't seized. Mechanic wasn't well educated. So I took it to another shop and had the work done without issues.

  I'll clarify the people who worked there were helpful and it was not them. A day prior I called the customer line to schedule my appointment. I was told it should ne around 50$. I book my appointment, because that's a great price. I show up and I'm told it's 118, before they do the change. It needed done, so I told them to do it anyway. Where do you get 118$ from? That's insane. So they come to tell me my car is done. They parked it outside already. I asked if they rotated the tires(as it was advertised in the 50$ offer, for the price of 118$ that should of been done, no questions). They said no. I didn't want to hassle them so I told them don't worry about it. But 118$ for just an oil change?! Pulling a plug, draining oil, putting a filter in, putting the plus back in and filling it with oil?! That's maybe a 20 minute job. I understand more than 50, but not that high. 50$ for my full synthetic and 13$ for my filter. That's 63$. Meaning 80$ for a 20 min oil change. Dude comes back in, I found d a Groupon to lessen the price. I show it to him, he's never done it, that's cool. So he calls his boss. We're running loops trying to figure this out. His boss said charge her 13$ for the filter. Then I made it clear that the filter was covered by Groupon. Then suddenly that 13$ changed to service fees and taxes. Like what? Then that 13$ was suddenly turned to 20$. Like I shouldn't have said anything. Because it probably wouldn't have upped. This experience was horrible. I paid the 70$ Groupon and that should have been it. I was nickle and dimmed. Again, this isn't about the people who served me. But it's about bad customer service and corporate. I will not be returning here and I will be advising people to not get services done here. It's not upfront and honest, just parts of it seemed sneaky. Especially as they were willing to cut 20$ off for me anyway, which I appreciate. But that goes to show that the 118$ price tag wasn't correct. I feel as though I was treated this way because I'm a woman walking into a male dominated field. Good customer service to women matters most. Because we talk, if this were a great experience I'd be suggesting your shop to people.
