Test drive convinced me this was the car. James took excellent care of me through the proess. I had a choice of going to a Kia Sportage SX Prestige (the tech is future - ride was good - but not like a Lexus), Toyota Highlander Hybrid which usually sells out, took the plunge on the Lexus for the reliability and ride. I recommend this dealership for the professionalism and the fact I got an excellent deal.

He also accommodated my last minute request to take possession of the vehicle a day earlier so i wouldn’t have to deal with the incoming snow/ice storm. I know this meant having him change his schedule to try and get all the documents together and coordination to have my new car removed from the showroom floor, prior to my early arrival, and he did so without a hitch. I highly recommend the Fort Washington site, for both sales and service, which I’ve been using since 2020.

After purchasing my Mercedes GL550 from them, I was later quoted $25,000 by their service department for repairs. From my perspective, the focus was not on repairing my vehicle reasonably, but on pushing me to buy a new car instead—apparently as a way to avoid paying such an outrageous repair bill. The service manager and mechanics came across as more interested in overcharging than providing honest diagnostics or cost-effective solutions. The entire interaction felt sales-driven rather than customer-focused. I ultimately took my vehicle to a local, independent mechanic, who completed the necessary repairs for $5,000, and the car has been running perfectly ever since. That alone speaks volumes. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Fort Washington Mercedes-Benz to anyone dealing with service or repair issues. My advice to other Mercedes owners: always get a second opinion from a trustworthy local mechanic before agreeing to costly dealership repairs.
