Also was charged $20 to reset the tpms?….most vehicle now do that on their own. Shady shop just looking to scrape money where they can.

I am the Golf Professional over at BridgeStreet Golf (Snipes) and being available at all times is part of my job. When my tire suddenly popped on my way to work, I called all the local shops and Mr.Tire was the place that kindly said “come in right now and we’ll take care of you.” I could tell they were busy but the taller gentleman worked fast, got me in and out, and even upgraded my tire for no additional cost due to a technical inventory issue. He made sure I got to work on time, and went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of. Not to mention there were only two mechanics in the shop, and they still helped me out. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would, they deserve it.

We have used Mr. Tire in the same fashion on one other occasion a couple of years ago with no problems. This time we ordered 4 tires for Lincoln Nautilus. The approximate cost for installation by Mr. Tire showed as $118.00 total. Once they received the tires, we spoke to them about the installation. They called us back a little while later and said they were all set to install and wanted to let us know that they would need to charge an extra $39.99 per tire (an additional $159.96 on top of the $118.00) because the tires were considered low profile. In addition, now one of the TPMS sensors had to be replaced at a cost of $164.99, even though all were working prior. When challenged, they didn't seem to care that they were not honoring an installation cost that they agreed to with Tire Rack. We are in sales and needed the vehicle back, and reluctantly paid the extra. I did contact Tire Rack customer service and am awaiting a reply. Ironically, I just now checked the installer reviews on Tire Rack's website for Mr. Tire in Fairless Hills, PA. The first negative one I came across said that he was charged double and they tried to tell him that one of his TPMS sensors was bad. When he refused to pay for a new one, they said they replaced it with a refurbished one at no charge. Whoever is running this place now, is ripping off people. We will never go there again.
