I first received no smile no hello no nothing just a blank stare when I entered location from a unwelcoming person at the front counter.. I'm older I still like customer service friendly greeting etc ..so anyway he didn't know what to do so he turned me over to the assistant manager who was fake nice but not helpful or accommodating at all ..I just wanted to pay a certain price that the thorndale branch quoted me ..but this joker at the Exton branch did a upsale and sold me a brand new reman part .my car is over 10 years old I don't want or need a new part.. I don't earn a lot of money. when I do go to spend its done with care until now I never had a bad word to say about aap. but I will never go to this chain ever again .and I don't recommend you do either. too.much competition out here ..will spend my money with people who value the customer..godspeed horrible people L ..ast mgr...and CL they know who they are

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
