- AAAna AnaJan 22, 20261.0My husband and I have rented a A 16 foot truck with a liftgate twice in the last three months we used it for a couple hours brought it back never was a problem. Received our deposit back even returned the truck with more gas then they initially gave me my husband goes to Make a reservation today they told us that they don’t rent lift gates to regular people. They only rented out to businesses. I said that’s not true because I’ve rented twice before he looked up our phone number and stating that since we rented a truck two times in the last three months then he would have to set up a business account. Because normal people don’t rent a truck two times within three months is what he said to me so I guess I’m not normal guys I said OK but I don’t have a business so basically we continue as if I do and then he says since it’s a business account we require $2500 to start a business account I just find it so crazy here you have somebody that literally pays full price for the truck. Don’t even keep it all day. Keep it for less than a couple hours. Brings it back. Everything’s perfect and now you’re saying because I needed a moving truck again within three months you let me know that I’m not normal you stated because normal people. Don’t rent Penski trucks two times in three months I’ve never heard of this even though and even though you see positive truck went over in the past it just starts to make me feel as if they’re prejudice And just doesn’t want someone with a foreign last name renting from them because I was doing everything he asked of me up until he asked me for $2,500.00 to set up a Business account not a deposit he wanted 2500 to set up a business account. I wonder if anybody else has had this experience
