  I came in around 8:00 p.m., about an hour before closing on October 28th. One employee was sitting behind the desk, eating food and scrolling on his phone. My father passed away today, and my nephew’s tire popped on the way to my house, so I brought him in needing a lug nut extractor. My nephew went inside first to ask for help. The employee told him he didn’t know what a lug nut extractor was, then pointed him toward the lug nut aisle. When my nephew said he didn't know what it looked like, the employee refused to check the computer and told him to “go to AutoZone down the street.” That’s unacceptable. This wasn’t close to closing time, it was pure laziness and lack of supervision. It’s not that people don’t want to work; it’s that some employees are completely unsupervised and unmotivated. Management needs to take this seriously. If this is the level of service being offered, this location will eventually close. You need better staffing and accountability.

  I was going crazy trying to figure out a way to make Velcro stick inside a very hot car. Erika at Auto Zone saved the day, and restored my sanity. I was trying to buy every adhesive the store had in stock. But when I went to the counter and explained what I was trying to do, Erika suggested I use upholstery tacks and showed me where they were. * They worked! Thank you, Erika, for listening to my problem, and then really figuring out what the best solution was. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate you! * PS - It’s been a week now, and I’ve driven all through the south in 95° days, and the upholstery tacks worked GREAT. (Thank you!!!)
