  Good luck trying to recycle oil at this AutoZone…. Bought oil here back in April of this year. Changed the oil in both of my vehicles but when I I came to return the recycled oil I was told “our drum is full” and wasn’t given any other option to recycle it. My wife and I happened to be going to Cranberry, so I dropped it off there. I spoke with the woman at that store (who was very helpful) and she said it was no excuse as to why they couldn’t have taken it at the Ellwood location. I bought oil again in August, but when I returned it this time there was no issue whatsoever. They took my oil, container and all. I bought oil again from this location 11/14/25. I changed the oil in my vehicles and came back to recycle it. The jerk at the counter told me to wait so he could give me my containers back. I told him I didn’t need them back and he said “well we can’t dispose of them for you”. I asked when that policy changed, and he didn’t even have the common courtesy to acknowledge my question. He simply shook his head as he walked away disgusted. I reckon in an attempt to diffuse the situation the store manager came over (who’s messed up my pickup order more than once) and told me “I can’t stop you from throwing them away in our garbage cans outside but we can’t dispose of them, it’s policy, epa, blah blah blah” - so what difference does it really make if the containers are disposed of inside the store or out? Poor management and even poorer attitude from the disgruntled employee. Won’t deal with these clowns anymore. I’ll just go to the cranberry one where I got great service. These guys need some training and etiquette reminders.
