I am SO GLAD that I went with my gut and didn’t listen to this service department.
I had a 2010 Toyota Camry with 128k miles towed in with a ticking noise that they tried to sell me a new (used) motor at $8,500 after I had given them some potential issues to look into on what the noise could be.
The noise goes away and the car drives fine after 10 seconds, and there are no check engine lights; which is what made me get a second opinion.
I wasted the $170 on a diagnostic charge at Koch, and took the car to Peruzzi Toyota and they diagnosed the issue promptly and correctly.
A new sprocket gear for my camshaft, and while in there we did the timing chain and guess what runs as good as new?
& less than $600…

Michael Neely is a hidden gem at Koch 33. I went there unsure of the car I wanted or what cars they had and he helped me from start to finish. Not only did he show me multiple different car models to see what the right fit was for me, but showed me the available inventory becuase he knew I needed a new car urgently. He throughly explained of the paper and even stay late 2 nights in a row to make sure I was completely satisfied from when I got on the lot until I left with the car I wanted. He helped me set up multiple different technologies that I was not used and made sure I was comfortable in the car. I highly recommend looking for him if you need a new car and are unsure where to start.

I had a very disappointing experience with Koch 33 Toyota that I feel other buyers should be aware of.
I traveled over 6 hours from Maryland to purchase a 2018 Toyota Tundra after coordinating with the dealership for nearly two weeks, including scheduling a mechanic inspection and completing financing steps in advance.
When I arrived, I was informed for the first time that the truck was inoperable and undergoing a radiator replacement. This was never disclosed beforehand, despite multiple conversations during my trip. Because of this, I was unable to test-drive the vehicle or have it properly inspected as planned.
I canceled the purchase, and the dealership confirmed in writing that “the deal is effectively reversed.”
However, after returning home using a loaner vehicle they provided as an accommodation, I was later charged $156.96 for that vehicle—something that was never disclosed or agreed to.
In addition to the frustration, I incurred out-of-pocket expenses for travel, a mechanic, and lost time from work.
I would strongly encourage anyone considering purchasing from this dealership to ask very detailed questions about the vehicle's condition and have everything clearly documented before making the trip.

If I could rate this place negative stars I would. I’m a disabled single father who saved for years for a car knowing I’d eventually need a better one. 1 car that could actually afford became available at this dealership. They had like 10 different people calling me and texting me about it. So I told them I was interested but I’d need to take it to my mechanic. Everything was set up and fine. Next day I’m told it was sold before anyone spoke to me. Hours later I was told again no it wasn’t sold and to come in on Monday and test drive and everything and this was at closing time. I wake up to a phone call at 9:30 am to let me know it was actually sold. This is after I spoke to my mechanic and he made time to squeeze me in for the inspection of the vehicle. Here’s what I believe happened.I and someone else both said we were intrested in the car. They kept me on the hook in case the other person changed their mind . I’m guessing after I made all the arrangements they called that person and told them to act now or you’re gonna lose the car on Monday therefore forcing the other person to buy the car immediately. I can go right now and I bet that car is still in the inventory which is the next issue. They keep sold cars in the inventory so you call to ask about them. Then when you call about that diamond in the rough they do what they did to me and say it’s not available but we have this that and the other thing to offer you. This ordeal has caused me a massive amount of stress and my biggest fear with dealerships come true. They are sharks who are so competitive to sell cars for that extra money they don’t give a shit who they are hurting in the process. If your thinking of getting a car from her I suggest it only be a brand new one and you go in,see a car and just immediately buy it.

Be careful when taking car in for service!! I recently took in my 2023 Prius Prime Plug-in Hybrid for routine wheel rotation and balance. What I ended up with , was extensive damage to the face for all ALL 4 wheels. At the conclusion of the service, I brought this to the attention of service advisor Chris Penna and after 45 minutes of argument at the service center, I was point blank told that " It did not happen under his watch, and there is NO WAY he is going to fix it". He further went on to accuse me of causing the damage somewhere outside and or even having it caused by some " Environmental" reasons. Chris then went on insisting, that he would connect me with a wheel repair company they work with and at a cost of $130 per wheel, I am more than welcome to get it repaired myself.
After getting nowhere with Chris, I requested to speak to his boss, General Manager Kaitlin Kinney. After about a 10 min private conversation behind the glass, Kaitlin pretty much picked up where Chris left off. After 15-20 min back and forth with her, the gate at the service bay was raised and I was told to leave the premises. I made a point to tell the manger that I would leave the car so they can further investigate the situation, I was told by Kaitlin, " I can choose to leave the car there and it will just sit".
So, Koch Toyota a little background on my Prius. at 34,000 miles. ALL routine service has been done at YOUR dealership ONLY. No other outside place has touched the wheels and tires of the vehicle. I spend $42,000 for the purchase, at the time (top trim), and one of the main appeal being these 19 inch wheels, which your technicians careless handled and damaged. And to make matters worse, there is dishonesty and coverup going on from top down.
And, if for argument sake, the damage were environmental (not likely because there is clear evidence of scratches) as Chris repeated tried forcing on me to believe, the car has 34k miles and is still under warranty. Are you willing to go this route?
I brought the matter to Toyota Corporate attention and was told that dealership would be reaching out within a business day. Multiple days have passed and no call have come through.
Chris, as an owner of multiple brands with OEM and aftermarket wheels installed, I take pride and care when handling my vehicles. For you to blatantly put the blame on me is out of line and bad customer service. Koch can certainly coach their team members on customer interaction.
Toyota, as a owner of 4 of your products including 2 Lexus suvs, it is very disappointing that you do not stand behind your product and work.
Anyone receiving service here should pay extra attention to type of work being done and if all possible, go elsewhere.
