Unfortunately, my recent experience with this Mavis Tire location was far from positive. I originally stopped in to schedule an appointment in-person, yet when I returned three days later, there was suddenly no record of it—despite the employee eventually remembering setting it. Only services needed was replacement of all four brake pads, which were covered under a lifetime replacement warranty, meaning I'd only been responsible for the labor.
My vehicle was taken into the bay about twenty minutes past the appointment time, but I received a call less than an hour later saying it was ready. That part seemed promising—quick turnaround! However, the total I was given at the counter immediately felt off. I questioned it, but the staff member assured me there were “no parts charges,” so I paid and planned to look over the invoice carefully afterward.
Once I reviewed it, I realized I was significantly overcharged—billed for nearly two hours of labor even though the car hadn’t even been at the shop for that long, let alone in the service bay. I reached out to Mavis Customer Service twice through the website and once directly by email, but I’ve received no responses at all. That silence only added to the frustration.
To make matters worse, the quality of the work itself was poor. Two weeks and a day after the service, during holiday travel, one of my brake calipers began locking up—something that absolutely wasn’t an issue before the visit. The result was severe smells, loud noises, and unnecessary damage to a rotor that were in good condition. What should've been a simple routine replacement of brake pads has now turned into additional repair needs (+ costs $$) and serious safety concerns.
Given the inflated charges, the lack of communication, and the improper workmanship, I don't feel confident returning to this location. Mavis should stand behind their service and take accountability for the damages caused. Customers deserve professional, trustworthy, dependable work—not new safety hazards and unexpected expenses from avoidable mistakes.
Unfortunately, I can't say I'd recommend this location. I sincerely hope management steps up, addresses these issues, and improves quality control so no other customer has similar experience.

Made an appointment online for tires and an alignment. The location called a few hours later to confirm. I confirmed and stopped in at the location the next morning to ensure they had the tires in stock as the appointment was for a Sunday. Provided the correct tire size which appeared on the invoice. Was quoted a price of $854. Dropped the car off that night for the 9am appointment the next day. Hours pass after the scheduled appointment time and I've received no calls telling me the car was done or otherwise. I called at 1:00pm and they state that they've been trying to call me all day and must have had the wrong number despite the correct number on the invoice and calling the day prior. They report nothing and say the alignment just needs to be completed. I pick up the car at 2pm. There were no apparent problems. I take the car to my daughter at college who calls Wednesday night to tell me there's a scraping noise when she turns the wheel really hard. I drive the two hour round trip to pick up the car on Thursday night only to see that they put the wrong size tires on the car. I return to the location this morning and the manager states they will correct the issue but it would be a two hour wait. I offer to return later in the day and am told to come back at noon. I arrive at noon and proceed to wait for 2 hours and 45 minutes. The car was not pulled into the bay until 1:00pm where it then sat untouched with all the tires off for 45 minutes. The manager had left for quite awhile during this time. I approached another gentleman at the counter a little after 2 and asked what the status was. He stated that they had trouble with the lug nuts and replaced them, the car would be done soon. This did not appear to be coreect so when he manager returns a few minutes later and I ask him for an update. He said it's almost done, I then say that the car has been sitting untouched for 45 minutes. He proceeds to ask the tech who was apparently waiting for the manager to speak to me about a list of things discovered before finishing the car, lug nuts were not one of the items. A bit hard to do when he isn't even there. Once they discovered their miscommunication the car was finished. Had I not insisted on an answer I would likely still be sitting in the waiting room. The manager did call corporate and provide a bit of an adjustment to the original bill but it did not make up for the mistruths, differing quote and bill, putting the wrong size tires on the car and wasting about five hours of my time and a few gallons of gas. Horrible first experience. Will not return or recommend.
