The staff were nice, however I paid $500 (tax included) to rent a car for a week, 7 days… which is $71.43/ a day for the car. I only ended up needing it 3 days, thankfully, because my car was able to be fixed fairly quickly. They ended up charging me more money, $99.20/ a day for three days because I only needed the car for three days and returned it early…. What a great business protocol, punishing you for not needing the car as long, and charging you more money per day, that is absurd. Terrible business practice, and customer service if you ask me.
- JAJessica AllenOct 19, 20251.0My friend scheduled a rental for us to go on vacation months ago. 3 days before they called and told her they wouldn't have a vehicle for her then called her morning of, said they had one then called 2 hours later and said they didn't. She ended up driving to state college for one. After vacation she paid extra to leave it at the DuBois location due to plans immediately after drop off, they made her feel terrible about it. The next morning a woman reached out to my husband saying she got the rental we had and found his wallet sitting in the center console, we met up with her to retrieve it and found out there was still sand from the beach all through it. So they never cleaned it out after us and gave it to another family. One of our children got car sick, we cleaned it ourselves but they never bothered to sanitize it or vacuum it out. Will never get a car there again!
