  Our salesman, Derrick Seedor, was wonderful and so kind. No pressure and the patience of a saint. Both Derrick and the sales manger were so workable and we were pleased with the outcome. We will return to this dealership in the near future!

  I just purchased a Dodge Ram from Hawkins Chevrolet in Danville and it was a great experience. I have been looking for a truck for a few months now, but get frustrated with "pushy" car salesmen and gimmicks. I worked with Luke Adzema and he was none of those things. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and made himself available for questions and assistance. I would highly recommend buying from Hawkins Chevrolet in Danville and using Luke to help you with your vehicle purchase!

  I purchased a 2026 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD LT. It didn’t come with rear wheel liners, so I decided to add. When I had truck in my garage taking off the rear tires. One of the rear driver side lug nuts came off like an egg or wobble. Once I was able to remove the lug, I noticed that the lug was cross threaded. I tried by hand to put one of the other lugs on that stud but it wouldn’t start. Leading me to believe stud was bad. I made an appointment at Hawkins to have them fix this stud/lug nut. On March 18th I had appointment. They never took tire off truck, not sure how you inspect without taking tire off. A guy in red shirt said lug nut came right off. Which is a lie, I handed him the lug nut when I got there. I never reinstalled it. I asked to speak to the manager, (Nate) came out and he said that I was correct and the lug was cross threaded, and it wasn’t right. But GM wouldn’t pay to fix this issue, and they weren’t going to fix. When I said this was unacceptable, he brought truck back in staging area. When they removed the lug you could see all the metal shavings on the rim. Nate agreed that it wasn’t correct but again wouldn’t fix the issue. He did also give me a new lug nut so I could fix myself. Also he gave me an 800 number to call if I wasn’t happy or to complain to them. This truck has less than 200 miles on it. And don’t believe I should have to fix a defective part. I would think it was designed for 8 good lug nuts for safety not 7 and one bad one. Nates answer to that was how many times you take tires off. I told him that was besides the point. Reason I rated poor is I can’t give anything lower, also I can’t believe you would tell a new truck owner that the lug and stud are cross threaded and say we are not fixing. I had my dad with me and witnessed this whole episode. Nate was not going to give me a receipt or description of service when I was leaving. I requested one and Nate the service manager finally gave me one. In that it says the shop foreman was able to get lug nut off with out any problems. I never reinstalled the lug nut at my garage and handed it to them when I got to the appointment to show them how it was cross threaded.
