  I normally go elsewhere here in Cranberry Township but had an urgent matter that could not wait (cylinder misfire). Monro was the only well-reviewed establishment nearby that could see my truck right away. They diagnosed the malfunction as being caused by one faulty spark plug; not a big deal luckily. I had the entire lot replaced. When I picked my truck up the issue persisted and I was very upset. I decided to endure the wait and took it to my normal shop for correction. My shop evaluated their work and said it was overwhelmingly good. They explained that the spark plug in question wasn’t torqued in all the way and in fairness to Monro’s technician it was the hardest to reach of the 16. In any event, I communicated with Monro’s manager, Mike Davis, about this issue and the first time I’ll admit I was emotionally charged. Mike was a class act EVERY step of the way. At no point did he throw his technician under the bus but also listened carefully and thoughtfully to everything I had to say. He handled the matter objectively, professionally, and like a gentleman. I requested a refund for the small fee it cost me to have the work corrected and Mike said, “I would appreciate if you’d give me the opportunity to do that for you,” which I found impressive. While this experience was stressful I would say that it was a good one on the whole. I feel comfortable with Monro, especially because of Mike. I think it’s important for all of us to keep in mind that automotive diagnostics and their subsequent repairs aren’t straightforward a lot of the time. In retrospect I wish I would have been more patient with Monro but we all have to live and learn.

  Today was a good visit. I needed a tire patched. I got new tires three days ago at the Cranberry location. They did a “courtesy inspection” told me everything was fine. At different location today, my brakes were metal on metal, oil and air filter needed changed, and tie rod issue. So wrong the other location didnt tell me that. Put mine and my kids and others lives at risk. Will never be back to a Monro, lost my trust.

  Came in to get the TPMS warning light checked. I was originally told that 4 of the sensors needed replaced and it would only take an hour or so, I sat there for over 3 hours and still was not done. I had a very busy day and told him I had to go and would come back later. I came back later and was told they forgot to check the full size spare TPMS and that it would take another hour. I was told it was fixed but on the way home the TPMS warning light came back on so I had to make another trip to get it looked at again which is a big problem as I don’t have the time to keep coming back. I was not satisfied with the level of service. I also think the cost to get the service done was too much.

  Excellent experience getting my snow tires mounted & balanced. Very accommodating to my schedule and reasonably priced for the services offered.
