Horrible! I went in to return my unneeded brakes, a female employee with red hair had a nasty attitude during the encounter & after I asked if that was all after the return, Diontae, another employee, said “yeah, that’s everything.”
I walk out with 2 rotors and brake pads.
I notice that the refund isn’t in the receipt once I leave.
I call later on, and Diontae said “yeah, you just kinda walked out of the store”
I said “I asked if everything was good”
He says “yeah, I meant that you had everything”
😐😐😐
When I go back, the lady with the red hair got smart and said “I don’t know why she’s giving you that receipt” to her coworker about ME.
Very poor customer service.
Thank God for Anthony, another employee, being nice to me.
I had a baby a little bit ago and it meant a lot, especially with all that happened.

The female manager was EXTREMELY rude and condescending! Another employee, Diontae, was also very rude. I felt belittled. I will not be coming back. The staff is terrible.

Here i go writing a review because the female manager Tina wanted to be absolutely ignorant over me asking if i can return brakes. My sister went to get brakes for my car after her giving the information on my car they gave her the wrong brakes. Okay cool no big deal mistakes happen so i do a pick up order because i need the correct brakes and there was a discount for online orders. I went in and asked if i could return the brakes that i had already. absolutely would have understood if they couldn't because i didn't have the receipt with me it just doesn’t hurt to ask so i asked. This lady was like the most i can do is $20 because the box was beat up & i was like oh thats fine no problem. She continued to have an attitude and was like “i cant sell these” to the guy who was on the computer doing the return. I stayed silent because whatever you’re helping me get a refund. I reminded the man that i had an online order so girl goes back to get the order asks me my name and sets everything on the counter next to us. the man helping me then proceeded to get my things and hand them to me and i was in a rush because i was on my lunch break. So i asked if everything was good as he handed me the stuff he said yes & its probably my fault for being in a rush but i was just thinking the refund was sent to the original payment method. I get home look at the receipt confused because the refund wasnt on there. I call the store and he told me i just walked out and i was like well i asked if everything was good and you said yes. (mind you im a small female carrying these heavy rotors and break pads so im not running out of the store he could have stopped me) He said to just come back everyone was still there so i was like fine no problem. a bit frustrated at this point because i work from home and had to clock back in. But luckily i have a great boss. I go back and this nice worker Anthony was helping a customer infront of me out to his car. So im waiting in the store no other customer is in there at this point and the manager with the foul attitude was just standing there talking with a coworker not helping me at all and she knew what i was there for considering i was JUST there. & when anthony came back to help me tina goes “the brakes are under the counter” before i said anything. I tell him the situation and i had the receipt on the counter pointing to the guys name on it who helped me incase he needed to talk to him because they had the brakes still. Tina comes over and is like “i dont know why shes giving you THAT receipt” okay girl why are we taking our job THIS seriously over some brake pads maybe i gave him THAT receipt to prove i was just there also since he didnt know the situation and you were just staring at me not doing your job while i was waiting to be helped? She was helping him process everything just with this nasty attitude so at this point i ask anthony to cancel it and ask for the brakes back because its never that real i’ll just take the loss. Mind you im a very sweet understanding person so i was just baffled i was getting treated the way i was. id understand if i were ignorant. And to the manager i hope you fix your attitude and stop being so rude to people for no reason its never that real to ruin someones day over something so little.

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?
Expand FAQ item
Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
