  I went to Bob's today for the yearly PA mandatory vehicle inspection. It was very close to my house. I went there this year because of a recommendation from one of my son's friends and was not disappointed. It is a local family based business with people that have hearts of gold and love what they do. I think the prices were very reasonable. I was touched by their sincere genuinous and integrity. For now I plan to go back here every year for my vehicle's state inspections. Also while waiting in the waiting room because it was raining and I didn't want to walk down to the local restaurant, I had a wonderful chat about dogs with one of the daughters in the company. She was so down to earth, and fun to talk to that the time in the waiting room flew by. I was out of there in less than an hour. The waiting room had three or four chairs, an efficient heater, lots of receptacles if you need to charge your phone, etc, and a Keurig coffee maker. They had two of their friendly young family puppies there at the time which brightened my day. Sabrina, the receptionist, gave me several nuggets of wise advice. I encourage you to support this local family business.

  I picked up my car recently from having some work done and I immediately noticed that it smelled badly like cigar smoke. Reading past reviews it seems like they know it's a problem but aren't really doing anything to fix it. Just assume you will get your car back and it will smell bad.

  A few weeks ago I dropped off my car to be inspected and when I picked it up It had a faint smell of smoke. I didn't think much of it and thought maybe I was just imagining it. But recently I dropped my wife's car off for an inspection and when we went to pick it up I was waiting for her in the parking lot I saw an older gentleman open one of the garage doors to take a trashcan to the dumpster and he had a cigar in his mouth. When I got home I asked my wife if she smelled anything when she got in the car and she said it did smell like smoke, I went and checked myself and once again the car had a faint smell of smoke in it. I have zero issues with people who choose to smoke, but it's not professional to be smoking inside a closed building with other peoples property inside. I don't want my cars to smell like an ashtray when I have kids that are subjected to the smell as well. I have zero issues with the work that was done on the vehicles, the pricing was fair and communication was good. I just cant recommend them, and will not be returning.

  Quoted me for a $1,000 job for something that does not have an issue. Claimed there was another large issue, but when questioned about it couldn’t give me a solid answer of what part of the engine was having the issue. It was at a different mechanic a week prior who looked it over a lot longer than they did and not one of these issues were mentioned. Do not recommend-hard to find honest mechanics anymore.
