I’m very disappointed with my experience at this Mazda dealership. Less than two months ago I came in for an oil change and was told I needed several services including an engine air filter ($54), cabin air filter ($75), battery service ($69), a leaking valve cover gasket ($349), and both drive belts with a tensioner assembly ($612). I declined the work at the time.
About a month later I went to Bergey’s for a second opinion. They repaired the valve cover gasket and told me one of the belts (the AC belt) didn’t even need to be replaced, which saved me money.
I recently returned to Mazda only for a state inspection because I had a coupon. My car passed inspection, but again I was given a list of recommended repairs including rear brakes ($570), a brake fluid flush ($161), another claim that the valve cover gasket is leaking ($385), and air filter replacements.
What was especially concerning is that the price for the valve cover gasket leak repair went up significantly compared to what I was originally quoted just two months ago, despite it supposedly being the same issue.
The valve cover gasket had already been repaired, and another technician reviewed the video Mazda sent and didn’t see any evidence of a leak. In the same video, the brake pads were measured at the very front edge of the pad instead of the middle where they should be measured.
It seems like every time I come here there is something new “wrong” with my car. Because of this experience, I’ll be taking my vehicle to Bergey’s from now on since they were honest and clearly had my best interests in mind.

Just had a wonderful experience with North Penn Mazda yesterday. Had a tire that was losing air and needed to be replaced and they not only went the extra mile to call and check on my warranty but took care of everything including setting up a shuttle to make my day much easier. They were right on it with everything and got the job done, also as I was recovering from surgery, they just went the extra mile to help out. Shuttle drivers were so nice and punctual… Really impressed with the service. Thank you so much!
