I took my car in last week on Monday to get an oil change and when they did change my oil… my car did not start.. They tried figuring out what’s wrong with the car, doing multiple checks, but nothing.. I had to get it towed to two auto shop. The first one “Firestone” in Bethel Park; an absolute nightmare, don’t ever go there. Then Mike Miller’s Auto on McNeilly; 10/10 highly suggest. When checked, he saw that the PCM connector was knocked out of place, which based off timing, did happen when my oil got changed. I bet you’re wondering why I’m putting five stars for that. Valvoline gets five stars on how they handled this situation. When I got that diagnostic and I contacted them, they were on the ball to make sure they got that resolved. They paid everything in full; even a battery I needed to replace which was not their fault. They had that invoice paid from the mechanic within 24 hours. It’s one thing to celebrate solid service but it’s another to acknowledge companies that take accountability for their faults and that’s what they did. That is 100% good business and I can’t ignore that. Mistakes happen, we’re human, and I know what happened was not malicious. Just an honest incident. I do thank you guys for covering that for me and taking accountability for that. That is phenomenal service because a lot of other places would try to fight that and you didn’t for an instance to try to do that. Thank you!

In my opinion, that already proves the Castle Shannon location more trustworthy than most of the other little shops around town. They had everything else I needed. No messing around. I had two bulbs put in at just over 40 bucks. That's (give or take a few bucks) what it would have cost to do it myself, and I didn't have to lift a finger. TLDR: honest, low prices, fast work
