- KKKyleJan 6, 20261.0I was at the Valvoline in Carlisle yesterday for an oil change on my 2025 Kia. After the service was completed, the service worker advised me that the oil cap indicated a different oil type than what was actually put into my vehicle. At no point was I offered the option to have the correct oil installed, even after this was acknowledged. I contacted Kia afterward and was advised that having the incorrect oil in the vehicle voids the warranty. I then filed a claim with Valvoline and called back this morning to speak with the service advisor. Brandon, the service advisor, was argumentative and stated that this should not void the warranty and seemed confused as to why Kia would say that. I explained that I was simply relaying what Kia told me and questioned why, once it was realized the wrong oil was used, it was not corrected while I was still there. Brandon responded by saying that I didn’t say anything at the time and offered to have me bring the vehicle back in so they could put the correct oil in. At this point, I have zero confidence in their work or their customer service. I will never take a vehicle back to this location for any service. Extremely disappointed in the lack of accountability and professionalism.

The price I paid was exorbitant compared to what they did; they didn't even provide the full service that should have been included in the price from the start. This was my first time using their service, and it was a very expensive experience. I'm honestly not happy, but next time I'll try a different garage.
