I took my 3 year old vehicle to this NTB location for the first time since i had the vehicle. The previous 2 years i had taken it to NTB on green tree road. I never failed a inspection or had issues with my inspections. This location calls me saying i need to replace my windshield wipers. So my response is okay, ill get a new pair put on by the weekend. There response is well you'll fail the state inspection but you will have to still pay for the inspection. So i ask what about the windshield wipers make it so it's failing and his response is, cause it's leaving streaks. Then begins to tell me they have wipers for 24$ each. Seriously you guys are that desperate for money that since you couldn't intentionally find something wrong, you make up some little BS reason to fail inspection unless you bring in more money. IT'S CALLED A PAPER TOWEL!!!!!!! you use it to wipe off the wipers and guess what, streaks gone. I will never be going back to this location or maybe even any NTB, but the green tree road location wasn't bad, good service. This McMurray location will apparently find anything they can to make you give them more money. I never heard in 20 years any place say you have failed inspection because of your wipers. Instead of charging someone 49$ for 2 wipers, get some paper towel, clean off the wipers and tell the customer, next time you see them on sale, pick up 2 new wipers! THATS it, that's all you have to do, not threaten people to fail the inspection but still take the money for the inspection and upcharge them for new wipers. This wasn't balding tires, broken head light, malfunctioning part, dash warning light......a dirty windshield wiper you could have cleaned off. Last time me or anyone in family will use this NTB location, which sucks because it's close. But not going to let them rip off me again or anyone friends and family
