  *UPDATE* Too bad the terrible "Google Review Response" from Safelite didn't address the main issue that two of their technicians told me the windshield would be replaced free if it didn't pass inspection. I originally had scheduled it to be replaced because I feared it wouldn't pass with a repair. So I had to reschedule my appointment and wait another few days, and borrow a vehicle to go to work so that they could repair my windshield instead. Just for it to fail inspection, and now I have to borrow a vehicle yet again to get the windshield replaced. Let alone having to drop it off again at the inspection station to get it to pass. They just don't stand by their word. Be wary to trust your car with them. I had a replacement scheduled and your technicians wasted my time telling me that I could get it repaired instead. This is the biggest issue I had a windshield replacement through Progressive Insurance. I was getting it replaced because the crack was inside the driver side view. But when the technician arrived he said they could repair it and it wouldn't need to be replaced. I said are you sure it'll pass inspection because I was told if it's in the driver's side view it won't pass that's why I scheduled a replacement. He assured me that it would pass and if it didn't that you guys would replace it for free. I believed him, and he scheduled a repair for me the next week. The next technician arrived and said the same exact thing as the first technician and continued with the repair. I thought everything was good until it failed inspection. I contacted you guys and you told me that you do not warranty the repair like I was told by the technician. He said if it didn't pass inspection you guys would replace it for free. When I contacted Safelite after it failed inspection they said it would not be replaced for free and I had to pay my insurance deductible. I told them I was upset and they emailed my local shops manager David O'Donnell and explained my issue and requested David to call me. I never received a phone call or email and quite frankly I'm very very upset. If I wasn't with Progressive, I'd never use Safelite again. A month of wasted time, and now an expired inspection sticker

  Awful experience. I had an appointment scheduled to have my windshield replaced and they rescheduled my appointment for a day that conflicted with my work schedule. After explaining to the woman that i would be taking off work to be home for this appointment and missing out on money, THEY NEVER SHOWED UP. Never called never texted, just literally never showed up to fix my windshield. Not only did i lose out on making money, i now have to drive to Georgia from Pennsylvania for Christmas with a cracked windshield. To say I’m upset is an understatement. Thanks safelite!!!

  Worst experience I have ever had. Not only did they reschedule my appointment three times, on the last one they never even called me to let me know. I sat around all day Saturday waiting for them to come to eventually call them and find out it was rescheduled again.
