Had a good experience at Mavis Discount Tire. I went in for an oil change and tire replacement, and the staff was friendly and professional. The service was quick, and they made sure everything was done properly before I left. Overall smooth and easy experience. I’d come back again for future maintenance.

I’m so glad I chose to come here for my tires! Taz at the front desk is awesome!! Super friendly and finds the best deal to suit your needs. Manny was also the technician, and when I encountered him after my service, he was just so nice! You can tell these guys are genuinely wanting the best for their customers. Hopefully I won’t get another flat anytime soon, but if I do, I’ll be coming here. :)

I had a great experience at Mavis Tire, and I want to give a special shoutout to Tazz. He is an outstanding employee who really goes above and beyond for customers. From the moment I walked in, he was friendly, professional, and extremely helpful. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I understood my options without any pressure. It’s rare to find someone who truly cares about both their work and the people they’re helping, but Tazz definitely does. His positive attitude, knowledge, and attention to detail made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. If you’re visiting Mavis Tire, I highly recommend asking for Tazz. He’s a great employee and a huge asset to the team. Five stars!

I can’t think of a worse experience. Go anywhere else but here. There’s a pepboys up the road. There’s also several independent mechanic shops as well all on stefko blvd. don’t stop here. Just keep driving a few feet and you’ll see other mechanics. I had a 10 am appt and they kept my car the entire day just to make my car the LAST car they worked on. I called at 12 pm and was told i was “next”. I called again at 230 to be told again i was “next”. When i expressed i needed my car and no one told me it’d be there all day and i SCHEDULED AN APPT FOR THAT REASON i was told “well we’re very busy” I was then called and told my alternator needed to be replaced and the guy moe was “100% positive” on the phone. So i agreed to an outrageous price of $750 if that’d solve the awful noise my car was making. I show up to get my car(even tho i was never called yet again) at 5 cuz that’s when they close and my car was still being worked on because the noise i brought the car in was still happening. They had 3 mechanics staring at my car unable to figure out what the issue was. When i got annoyed they replaced something they were “positive about” that clearly wasn’t needed They claimed my alternator was “bad” so they needed to replace it anyways even tho that didn’t solve the noise, claimed i might also need a battery(i replaced the battery 3 months ago) and said they’re now “positive” the noise is the water pump so i can do that too. So we went from a “bad” alternator to 3 relatively costly repairs ?? I knew my alternator or battery wasn’t bad and i told them this 3 times and the guy moe pushed back that it’s “almost bad” and if the alternator is bad the battery may be too ( what does that even mean ? Cuz that’s not true Lol ) ,so i had them take the alternator out of the car and put my old one back on, and i didn’t agree to any other services and told them i wasn’t paying and took my car to an independent shop who fixed it the next day. Turns out my alternator is fine, my battery is also fine, and my water pump was also fine and i fixed my car for $500 total. A fraction of what they were trying to lie and manipulate me into paying here. Pretty absurd i scheduled an appt for them to keep my car alll day, not update me on how long it’d be, then never even truly knew what was wrong with the car. The worst part was their look of annoyance when i questioned why they’re changing parts or recommending changing parts without clearly having any clue. The guy moe told me “well sometimes we don’t know without trying because the noise could have been several things”. I really Hope no one falls for this scam ever so just avoid this shop at all costs. The idea they think it’s okay to guess their way to a repair and try to get you to agree to HUNDREDS of dollars for each repair is disgusting and very BAD business. They then “cancelled” my appointment after i left. Probably trying to cover up any record of me being there hoping there’s no backlash of them wasting my entire day, their own time, the shops time because they all stayed way past closing, and trying to quite literally guess their way to fixing my car. Also, probably trying to cover up that when i showed up at 5 at closing they were all smoking weed with the garage doors open still not even done fixing the cars that should have been done… again because they were supposed to close at 5.

I had called around to price out Mount and Balance 2 customer supplied tires with an alignment. The service writer at this location gave me a cupon when I called and told me I could come in and they would honor it. When I arrived a few days later they claimed no knowledge of the cupon. Ok.. so I went through with the service anyways. They pulled my car is, looked it over and put the tires on. Then backed it out of the bay and moved it back and forth a few times before bringing me the key. No attempt at even going on the alignment rack. I left hoping maybe I missed it but no, the car drove very poorly and was never aligned. When confronted the writer said that it was an honest mistake. Half the job missed is an honest mistake here..
