I needed some help in a pinch since I was juggling 2 little ones with the wife being out of town...so time was of the essence. These guys here were absolutely amazing. They answered my questions fast, and provided deep insight to my vehicle issues to reassure me it was related to the battery for my type of truck. I had to jump my new truck to just get it to the store in hopes that was all it was. They tested my battery, confirmed it needed to be replaced, did the replacement, and then cleared my code to turn the engine light off within 10 minutes. The employee tested the battery and said I was good, he explained to me that his experience with hybrid cars was that the battery lasted longer - so I might get a couple more years out of it.

Who ever answered the phone acted like my questions were a nuisance, and was super rude. Slammed the phone in my ear. Absolutely terrible customer service. Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
