- SVSarah V6 days ago1.0the oil change was fine, but the guy who was in my car during the oil change reset EVERYTHING, not just the service warning. i had to go through and change everything (lane assist, wiper settings, light settings, sound settings, etc) back to how I had it, and now I cannot get my power lift gate setting (t open automatically when i approach the back of the car) turned back on…the option for it is grayed out and doesn’t let me select it. Also my mirrors and seat setting was changed. You’re in my car for literally 15 minutes to change the oil, there’s no need to mess with any of that stuff!!

I went in for a routine oil change and tire rotation. They ended up breaking two of my bolts and having to replace them, which meant ordering the parts, and I couldn't get to work on time. This process took two hours. After the service was finished, someone came out to tell me I definitely have a gasket blown, and that it could be catastrophic. Went to my mechanic, it's not the gasket, but the upper O rings destroyed on the pan, which caused oil to flow into the coolant. It's pretty clear that jiffy lube messed up, tried to tell me that it was something else, and now I have to pay $1500 to get new O rings and my system flushed. The only reason for two stars is because the new manager there was very sweet.

I purchased a groupon for $75 dollar full synthetic oil change. 35% off what groupon says is their normal price. I needed a $15 cabin air filter. When it came time to bill me the total was $106. I immediately got upset and the attendant knocked $20 off. I was not satisfied. My price should have only been $15. To make matters worse when i got back into my car all the contents of my glove box were spewed all over the passenger floor. They didn't take the time to put the contents back in after they changed the filter. I will never go there again and I implore anyone who is thinking about it to think again. Trained used car salesman posing as "oil change experts." Awful experience. Never again.
