  About a year ago we decided to give Mr. Tire (Allison Park, PA) a try after losing our trust in another garage chain. We are very pleased. They quote a price after their assessment that does not change and perform the service as they describe. There is no pressure to do other services. My past two times with them stand out and reveal their honesty. My car would not start in the dead of winter, and AAA came to my house. We got the car started. They then told me the car was in need of a tuneup. I took it to Mr. Tire. They called me back and told me the car was fine. Their analysis revealed no need for a tuneup, and they explained why the car had trouble starting. It did not require service, only a change from me. How often have you gone to a garage and had someone turn you away from a requested tuneup whether or not it was needed? But this is the kind of garage they are. Maybe it would make more money in the short term to do the tuneup, but they now have a lifelong customer. Last week, I took my car in for an inspection. They called and told me the frame was rusted through (failing the inspection), and the car could not be repaired. They showed me pictures so I could understand how bad the situation was. Because this was a death nail to my car, they asked me if I wanted them to perform the other services I had requested. Again, this is a garage you can trust to be truthful. They want to provide service, not exploit you. However, if you’re going to use them, do not make the appointment through the central processing folks who are unaware of the schedule at the local shop. Hit option 2 and get put through to the garage. By the way, they are also very pleasant to work with.

  Went in to get four tires replaced and an alignment. When I got my car back my alignment was completely out, had to turn the wheel considerably to the right in order to drive straight. Went back immediately and had to schedule for it to be fixed on another day, resulting in me having to miss more work for them to fix their mistake. When get my car back for the second time there’s damage to my steering wheel. The complete lack of accountability and the way the employees made it seem like I was crazy for being upset really left a bad taste in my mouth. At the end of the day I spent around $1k for 2 separate trips to complete a routine job, and nothing to show for it except a damaged steering wheel. This was a horrible experience and I highly recommend looking elsewhere for any sort of service you need done to your vehicle.

  Needed 4 tires have always used box stores tried Mr tire closest to my house was pleased with price and service but never purchased Falken brand tires salesman was very knowledgeable and quoted me a price lower than box store so I bought them will see how these tires wear

  We have gone to Mr Tire on McKnight for years and always had great service. We moved to this area and decided to give this shop a try. They tried to sell my wife on new brakes saying they were at “2”. We had already replaced the pads and rotors for all 4 wheels a few months prior and another shop confirmed that they were still in practically new condition. They were trying to deceive my wife into unnecessary service. We will not be going back to this location.
