- JFJessica FerlanJan 30, 20261.0Awful experience from the beginning to the end. I was the victim of a hit and run accident and needed a rental vehicle so my insurance set me up with Enterprise. I was given a brand new van that broke down in the middle of a busy road about a week later. I called Enterprise road side assistance and had a tow truck sent out. Then a week later my card was billed for around $300. I called and they stated it was for the extra week that wasn't covered by my insurance...I stated I didn't even have the vehicle anymore...that it broke down. They had no idea and didn't even know where the van was. Thankfully that was sorted out and I was refunded the money. Then I was called again (maybe another week later) asking where the key fob was. I stated that the fob was handed to the tow truck driver (who was extremely rude by the way) Enterprise then said if they can't locate the key fob that I have to pay for a new one. I paid extra for coverage...wouldn't that be included in that coverage? What about their own insurance? What about the tow truck company? I absolutely refuse to pay when the key was given directly to the tow truck driver. I'll definitely NEVER use Enterprise again if I can ever help it. What a nightmare from the wreck itself to the rental car fiasco.
